Hey everyone, I'm working on a new hip-hop based on a sample from Curtis Mayfield's "We the People Who are Darker than Blue." Carter Lang and I started the track last week after an insprirational trip to Swelltone Labs, an audio post-production/film mixing studio, with our film scoring professor, Jay Weigel. I'm having New Orleans rapper and front man from Crooked Culture, Roy Briggs, to finish the track tonight.
